Heavy-duty all-weather rubber floor mats with a raised lip edge that traps mud, snowmelt, and spilled drinks in a shallow basin, instead of letting them soak straight through into the carpet underneath.

The raised channel around the edge is the actual feature — it turns the mat into a shallow tray instead of a flat sheet, so a boot's worth of mud or a full cup of spilled coffee stays contained until you can deal with it, rather than migrating into the carpet fibers where it never fully comes out.

They're molded to the vehicle's footwell contour rather than a generic rectangle, with a nib backing that keeps them from sliding forward under braking — a problem cheap universal mats have almost immediately.

They still need trimming to fit some models exactly, and they only cover the footwell itself, not the full carpet — dry debris further back still needs a vacuum. For the actual wet-and-muddy months, they take the worst of it off the carpet entirely.
